We'll have a look at removing the servo, i'm more 'worried' about not really having the race ecu. but there is no RACE on the dash, simply SERVICE and red light. Thing is the guy who sold the bike to my mate advertised it having the Aprilia RACE ecu installed (his words) and a spare oem ecu. If NO RACE map is present - flapper valve servo can be eliminated using this: BUT - if servo is there and malfunctions, that will generate appropriate fault codes in ECU. With RACE ECU present, servo can be disconnected and/or removed and no fault code will be generated. When RACE ecu is present the flapper servo, IF ITS CONNECTED TO THE BIKE, will open the valve as soon as the bike is in gear and close it when bike is in neutral. ![]() Any moder RSV4 or Tuono V4 will say RACE on the dash if race ECU is present.
